It makes me wonder why I should even bother if capcom is going to release a Uber armor set for practically for free just so I can breeze through iceborne later. So I'm looking at all my armor that I spent hours grinding for wondering what the hell was the point of it if I can just buy the defender armor and spam the slash button. I'm like, "wait a minute, wasn't that supposed to be harder? Why did I even bother grinding back then when it's this easy now?" It's so incredibly jarring how a 3 star monster that took me hours to gear up for before can just be beaten without even bothering to heal. I don't even see the point of rolling if my character can just tank everything and win anway. I finally started to play it again with the defender weapons and armor and I'm breezing right through it.
